I passed my exam!
I sat the first part (part A) of my Intercollegiate MRCS examination at the end of September and found out the results online yesterday lunchtime. Needless to say I passed! I had been pretty confident about it to be honest (having left 45 minutes early from the second 2 hour exam). I don’t know how well I did (the exam breakdown will be posted to me in a couple of weeks) – not that it matters since a pass is good enough. All I need to do now is decide when to sit the second (and final) part (part B). I think I need a break from studying (and time to save up the £900 fee!) so I may put it off until May 2010.
To celebrate my results, Fi and I went to the movies and saw Surrogates with Bruce Willis. You can read my review here but, in short, I liked it. After the movies, we ventured into Clifton and had dinner at Bauhinia which was really nice. We then wandered over to The Mall for a drink and a snuggle on the sofas – a really pleasant evening.
