Objo Studio

Objo Studio is my current commercial software project. It's a cross-platform IDE for building desktop apps and command line tools with a language I created call Objo. For the uninitiated, it's an app that lets you build your own apps.

I created Objo Studio because none of the existing tools ticked all the boxes I was looking for. I wanted a familiar object-oriented BASIC-like language. I wanted a well thought out, easy-to-use, editor that abstracted away all the complexities of building an app and let me focus on the code and the finished product. I was also fed up of relying on third parties not maintaining their software or documenting it properly.

For years I've been well known in the Xojo community for my open source work and diligent engineering. I've left that community now as I build Objo's. Objo fixes every problem I encountered with Xojo and continues to add new features and nice touches that aim to make developers happy.

Objo Studio is free to use. You only pay to be able to build and deploy and app you've created. As a way of giving back, if you're a student or teaching students, Objo Studio will always be free for you.
